The EWP was set up in 1996, it’s serving members were elected by the
Breed Council Member Clubs.  To date (the same as the Panel Members) no EWP
member has charged for their time or traveling expenses.  All its
members are Championship show judges of long standing.

The EWP is responsible for:-

• Organising the annual A1 judges Conference (judges who
  are already approved by the KC to award CC’s) These are
  lively events with an average attendance of 65 Championship
  judges.
• The professional filming of the lovely Video “The German
  Shepherd” produced in conjunction with sponsorship from
  Pedigree Petfoods. (Available to Club Members for purchase)
• The training of German Shepherd enthusiasts who aspire
  to judge the breed. Although the lectures & exams were
  originally for judges approaching Championship level, such
  was the interest that anyone in Shepherds may attend the
  lectures and sit the exams.
